Best AI website builders in Ghana (2026): prices, Mobile Money and what each one can build
Five years ago, a shop owner in Kumasi or a pastor in Tema who wanted a website had one real option: find a web designer, pay a deposit and wait. Today there are tools that build the website for you from a short description, some of them in minutes. The question many business owners now ask is simple: which one should I use in Ghana?
We compared five of them: DWOMOH Build, HostAfrica Hbuild, Wix, Lovable and ChatGPT Sites. We looked at what each costs, how you pay for it, whether your customers can pay you with Mobile Money, and what kind of website or app it can actually build.
One thing must be said upfront. DWOMOH Build is our own product, so read this with that in mind. Every price below was checked on each company's own website on 20 October 2026, and where another tool is the better choice, we say so.

DWOMOH Build: for shops, bookings and apps paid with MoMo
DWOMOH Build was started in Tema. You describe your business in a sentence, in English or French, for example *"an online shop for my shoes in Kumasi with MoMo payment and delivery areas"*. It then writes the pages, the forms, the customer login and the database. Before you see anything, it opens every page in a real browser, fixes its own errors and then shows you a live preview on your phone.
What it costs: the first preview is free. Building the full working app starts with the Starter plan at GH₵150 a month. To put the site online you need Growth at GH₵300 a month (your site lives at yourname.dwomohbuild.com), or Pro at GH₵450 a month if you want your own address such as mybakery.com. Pay for a full year and you get 2 months free. Payment is in cedis, by MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money or card.
What else to know: your customers can pay you by Mobile Money through your own Paystack account. Paystack charges 1.95% per payment and pays out the next working day. Native Android and iPhone apps are not ready yet; for now every app opens in the phone's browser. Downloading your full code is on the Business plan.
When to pick something else: if all you need is a one-page flyer at the lowest possible monthly price, or you want to drag every box around the page yourself.
HostAfrica Hbuild: the cheapest simple site from a Ghanaian host
Hbuild is HostAfrica's AI site builder. You describe your business, the AI drafts a layout and the text from ready-made templates, and you edit it in a visual editor. Hosting is included and there is a 30-day free trial.
What it costs: ₵20.98 a month for the first three months, then ₵69.94 a month, according to HostAfrica Ghana's website in October 2026.
What else to know: HostAfrica itself says the basic builder does not handle e-commerce or scheduling, and points sellers to a separate store builder. It makes information websites, not apps where customers log in or where records are kept.
Who it suits: a business that needs a simple information site (about us, services, contact) at a low price, from a company that also sells .com.gh domains.
Wix: the big template editor
Wix is one of the best-known website builders in the world. It has an AI tool that creates a first version of your site, more than 2,000 templates and a drag-and-drop editor.
What it costs: there is a free plan, but it carries Wix branding and a Wix address. On wix.com in October 2026 the paid plans were shown as Light at $17, Core at $29, Business at $39 and Business Elite at $159 a month, billed yearly. Wix says prices and currency vary by country, so check the figure you see at checkout.
What else to know: to take payments you need Core or a higher plan. Wix supports Paystack in Ghana, and that includes Mobile Money. You design the pages yourself, and bookings or member areas come from Wix's own add-on apps.
Who it suits: people who like designing, want control over every detail and do not mind paying in dollars.
Lovable: a strong AI app builder, paid in dollars
Lovable is a popular AI app builder. You describe an app in a chat, it writes a complete web application, and you keep changing it by chatting.
What it costs: a free plan, Pro at $25 a month with 100 credits, and Business at $50 a month, according to lovable.dev in October 2026. Billing is in US dollars through Stripe.
What else to know: it is very capable, used by teams around the world, and it hosts your app for you. Taking payments, and Mobile Money in particular, is something you have to ask it to add and then set up yourself with a payment provider. Its help pages and examples are written for a global audience, not for Ghana.

ChatGPT Sites: if you already pay for ChatGPT
Since July 2026, paid ChatGPT plans can build and host small websites and web apps from a chat, with sign-in and a database.
What it costs: there is no separate price. It comes with ChatGPT Plus, Pro and supported Business and Enterprise plans, but not the Free or Go plans. Building uses up your plan's usage limits.
What else to know: OpenAI's help pages say Sites does not register a domain for you. You must already own one and change its DNS settings yourself. How to choose
- Will customers pay on the site? Then you need a MoMo checkout: DWOMOH Build, or Wix on Core and above with Paystack.
- Will customers create an account or make a booking? Then you need an app, not just an information site: DWOMOH Build, Lovable or ChatGPT Sites.
- How will you pay for the builder? With MoMo in cedis: DWOMOH Build or HostAfrica. With a dollar card: Wix, Lovable or ChatGPT.
- Will you manage it from your phone? Try each free option on your phone before you pay. That is how most of your customers will see the site too.

Is there a free AI website builder in Ghana?

Can I build a website on my phone?
Yes. With an AI builder you type or paste your description on the phone and see the preview right there. DWOMOH Build was made for phones first, because most Ghanaian customers will open your site on a phone.
Do I need to know coding to use an AI website builder?
